The goal of the Piedmont College Financial Aid office is to assist students in attaining the necessary funds to attend our institution. Students who have been admitted to Piedmont may apply for a variety of federal, state, and institutional grants and scholarships by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at 国产偷拍视频. Undergraduate Financial Aid
The Piedmont College Financial Aid Office is committed to helping students secure the necessary funds to earn a higher education and understand their rights and obligations associated with receiving those funds. These services are provided with the strictest confidentiality, in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974.

If you are a parent or spouse wishing to discuss your student's records,your student will need to provide Financial Aid a written consent to share their account information by completing the FERPA Consent for Disclosure Form. Please have your student's Piedmont Student ID number ready. Without this ID number, we will not be allowed to discuss that student's records with you.

Undergraduate Application Procedures
Step 1: Complete either the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) through or if you wish to apply for institutional aid only, please complete the .

Student receiving financial aid must maintain satisfactory academic progress as outlined in the Student Handbook in order to continue to receive financial assistance.
Federal Student Aid
The U.S. Department of Education's Office of Federal Student Aid offers aid assistance to students through their federal programs. Federal student aid applies to school expenses such as tuition, fees, room, board, books, supplies and transportation. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) should be submitted online at . The FAFSA is available as early as January 1 each year, and should be submitted prior to your anticipated date of college enrollment. Types of federal aid available are listed below.
Federal Pell Grants
国产偷拍视频Federal Pell Grants are available to undergraduate students. Grants do not have to be repaid. Eligibility is determined by the Expected Family Contribution as calculated by the Department of Education, using information provided on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Funds from this award will be divided equally between Fall and Spring semesters and will be credited to the student's account accordingly.
Federal Student Loans
国产偷拍视频Federal Direct Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans must be repaid and are available to undergraduate students. Unsubsidized loans are also available to graduate students. These loans have low interest, fixed rates. Payment is deferred until six months after the student graduates or ceases to be enrolled at least half time. Freshmen may be eligible to borrow up to $5,500, sophomores up to $6,500, and juniors and seniors up to $7,500. Graduate students can borrow up to $20,500 in unsubsidized loans over an enrollment year. Federal Direct PLUS Loans
Federal Direct PLUS Loans are available to parents of dependent undergraduate students and graduate students enrolled at least half time. Financial need is not a requirement. Borrowers can request a loan for up to the full cost of attendance minus any other financial aid. This loan enters repayment 60 days after full disbursement. Some PLUS loans qualify for deferment of payments while the student is enrolled at least half time.
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (SEOG)
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (SEOG) are available for undergraduates with exceptional financial need. Awards range from $100-$4,000. This federal grant is awarded based on the Expected Family Contribution and the availability of funds. Your FAFSA application determines eligibility. Funding is limited and priority is given to Pell Grant recipients.
Federal Work Study
国产偷拍视频Federal Work Study provides part time employment opportunities for eligible students, allowing them to earn money to pay educational expenses. Students usually work an average of 8 to 15 hours per week and receive a paycheck biweekly. The paycheck is made out to the student and the student chooses how to use the money.
国产偷拍视频The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program provides grants of up to $4,000 per year to students obtaining their bachelors or masters degree who intend to teach in a high-need field in a public or private elementary or secondary school that serves students from low-income families. In exchange for receiving a TEACH Grant, you must agree to serve as a full-time teacher in a high-need field in a public or private elementary or secondary school that serves low-income students. As a recipient of a TEACH Grant, you must teach for at least four academic years within eight calendar years of completing the program of study for which you receive a TEACH Grant.

Georgia Student Financial Aid Programs
Students interested in Georgia financial aid programs must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at or the GSFAPPS at .
To receive HOPE Scholarship funding, students must be legal Georgia residents who graduate from a HOPE eligible high school with a 3.0 GPA in the core curriculum and be declared HOPE Scholars by the state. Zell Miller Scholarship
